Ultimate Office Solutions is an eco-friendly company – proudly supporting renewable solar and wind energy projects, and conservation projects.

We are proud supporters of companies such as Solar Sailor and the Bonobo Conservation Initiative Australia, both of whom are striving toward a sustainable future.

Solar Sailor owns patented ‘solarsail’ technology - single devices that can harvest wind and solar energy on any vehicle and has developed hybrid marine power (HMP) technology for a variety of applications from small unmanned vessels, to ferries, cruisers and tankers. Like hybrid cars, the HMP system combines the efficiency of electric drive with the power of conventional drives. The HMP system also adds renewable energy available particularly the sun and the wind via the 'solar wing' a single device, which harvests both sun and wind energy in a seaworthy manner at sea.

The Bonobo Conservation Initiative Australia (BCIA) was incorporated with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission as a not-for-profit public company with the primary objective of promoting the conservation of the rarest Great Ape, the bonobo (pan paniscus), and their habitat through:

• Raising funds and support to assist bonobo conservation projects
• Raising awareness of the need to preserve bonobo populations in their natural habitat
• Studying bonobos in the Congo (DRC) to better understand their natural environment and the threats to their survival

We here at UOS have been supporters of such organisations for many years and are also looking at ways we can be more environmentally friendly in our everyday business, we are endeavouring to reduce our carbon footprint by trying to reduce our consumption of consumables such as paper (by electronic invoicing, online signup and email notification and set-up) and as such a reduction in waste production. UOS does not operate on weekends, which in turns reduces the amount of energy consumption and also allows for a positive work-life balance for our employees.

Ultimate Office Solutions understands the importance of creating a balance between work and life, production and consumption and corporate and the environment.
